At KB Handicraft, we understand that purchasing authentic, handcrafted Himalayan art is a meaningful investment. We take the utmost care in preparing, packing, and shipping your sacred statues from the Kathmandu Valley directly to your home.

Below is our comprehensive guide to how your order will be handled and delivered.

Order Processing Time

Because of the delicate nature and high value of our authentic metal craft, every statue undergoes a strict quality check and secure packaging process before it leaves our workshop.

• Standard Processing: All orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days of receiving cleared payment.

• Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once your order is successfully placed, followed by a dispatch notification containing your tracking information once the package leaves our facility.

Shipping Destinations & Timelines

We proudly ship locally within Nepal and internationally, with a special focus on our customers in Australia. We partner with world-class couriers (DHL and FedEx) to ensure your artwork arrives safely and swiftly.

Delivery Estimates:

Local Delivery (Nepal): 4 – 6 Business Days

Global Express (Australia & International): 6 – 12 Business Days (Via DHL/FedEx Express)

Please note: While we strive to meet these timelines, international deliveries can occasionally experience slight delays due to local customs processing or severe weather conditions. We appreciate your patience.

We treat every statue and product with the reverence it deserves. We do not use standard flimsy shipping boxes.

• Your statue is carefully wrapped in protective, shock-absorbent materials.

• High-value statues are often secured in reinforced, custom-fitted export boxes to prevent any movement or stress on delicate parts (like hand mudras or crowns) during transit.

• Our packaging is designed to withstand the rigors of international air freight so your piece arrives in pristine condition.

Shipment Tracking & Insurance

We want you to have complete peace of mind while your statue is in transit.

• Full Tracking: Every international order is shipped with a premium tracking number. You will be able to monitor your package’s journey from Kathmandu to your front door in real-time.

• Safe Arrival Guarantee: We ensure that your item is fully protected during transit. In the highly unlikely event that your statue is damaged during shipping, please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy to claim a replacement or refund within our designated timeframe.

Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes (International Orders)

When shipping internationally from Nepal to countries like Australia, the package may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties, or quarantine fees levied by the destination country’s government.

• Customer Responsibility: Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. KB Handicraft has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

• Documentation: We provide all necessary commercial invoices and artisan export documentation required by Nepali law to ensure as smooth a customs clearance process as possible.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please ensure that your shipping address is 100% correct at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the buyer, the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs as well as the redelivery costs.
